This 1840 treasure is a gold snake-link chain which has collet mounted cabochon turquoise stones set in its entirety at regular intervals. It also has a detachable tied ribbon-bow pendant/brooch with a swing drop. The necklace is 117.0cm. long. The pendant/brooch length is 6.5cm long (including swing drop).
In 2008, it was auctioned at Bonhams of London. It sold for CDN $10,052.
